HOT Huggies Deal at Rite Aid with NEW $3/1 Huggies Coupon!

Huggies just released another $3/1 (any one) Huggies coupon over the weekend which goes very nicely with Rite Aid's sale on Huggies this week.  I have not gotten around to doing the diaper deals this week since my weekend was crazy busy and this week isn't going to be much better.  I think that if you have 4 printers at home so you can print 4 of these coupons, Rite Aid is definitely going to be the cheapest (after UP+ Rewards) this week.  Here is what I went and did today:

$0.72 PER PACK!!

4 Huggies Jumbo Packs, on sale for $8.97
-$3/1 printable x 4
-$3/$15 coupon from store survey (they sometimes print at the bottom of your reciept)
-$1/1 Huggies Video Values coupon
-$1/1 Video Values coupon x 2 (two different videos)
-$5 UP+ Rewards
TAX $2.95
TOTAL  $15.83, Got $10 UP+ Rewards for spending $30 in Kimberly Clark products

So, I got four jumbo packs of diapers for only $2.88 (before tax and after UP+ Rewards), so only like $0.72 PER PACK!!

You can do this deal as well even if you don't have UP+ Rewards to spend or you don't have the $3/$15 survey.  This is how your's would look:

4 Jumbo Pack of Diapers, $8.97
-$3/1 printable x 4 (must have two computers)
-$1/1 Huggies Video Values
-$1/1 Video Values x 2 (look under the Rite Aid section on all offers)
TOTAL (before tax) $20.88, get $10 UP+ Rewards
Like $10.88 for 4 packs, or $2.72 PER PACK!

2 Jumbo Packs, $8.97
2 Little Swimmers, $6.97
-$3/1 printable x 2 (only requires one printer)
-$2/1 Little Swimmers from 5/15 SS x 2
-$1/1 Huggies Video Values
-$1/1 Video Values x 2 (look under the Rite Aid section on all offers)
TOTAL (before tax) $18.88, get $10 UP+ Rewards
Like $8.88 for 4 packs, or $2.22 PER PACK!!

PLUS, if your Rite Aid carries Juicy Juice, you could get one Juicy Juice free with each Little Swimmers if you printed the coupon or if you have the June All You magazine.  Unfortunately, my Rite Aid didn't have any.  :(

Albertsons and Walmart Shopping Trips 5/31

Today is day 3 of 3 to do this set of Albertson's doublers and since I procrastinated all weekend, I had to go today.  I hate going on day 3 because usually half of what I had planned on getting is out of stock already.  I was able to get some good deals anyway because I always have a back up plan for Albertson's doubler days.

I also had some $5/1 Similac coupons from a few weeks ago that expire today, so I wanted to make sure I used them at Walmart to take advantage of the overage.  There are actually quite a few coupons expiring today, so if you had some stashed away that you really wanted to use, you should probably check them to see if they are expiring today.

Here is what I got today:

Four Movie Tickets for Only $24, That's $6 Each!!

Buy With Me (a daily deal site) is offering 4 movie AMC movie tickets for $24 which is a pretty good deal anyway.  I also read on Queen Bee's page, if you use promo code BWM10 at checkout, you will get an additional 10% off, making it four tickets for only $21.60 or $5.40 each.  This did not work for me, but it might for you!  That would be pretty great.  :)  The tickets actually get mailed to you, so you can keep them or give them away, use them all at once or split them up.  They don't expire and can be used on any movie.  Here is the small print:

But when spring comes and the snow melts, everything goes back in boxes. Find fashion for any season with today's Moolala deal: for $10, receive a one-year pro membership, plus a box of kids' clothes, toys or books from thredUP.com (a $46 value).Because even the most obedient children can't stop growing, thredUP provides a place for parents to exchange gently used clothing, toys and books for items more suited to their children's needs. Members search for just-right boxes, which are sortable by gender, age, size, contents, season and more. Once a box is chosen, members pays $5 plus shipping, and can begin compiling his or own box of last year's turtlenecks, mailed to another mom for free.
With thredUP, all members can create a network of simpatico sharers from their friends or people who parted with a sweet collection of dinosaur models. Upgrading to PRO allows members to have first dibs on newly-released boxes, custom recommendations and access to Golden Threds, which offers boxes of brand new kids' clothes from premium retailers. Buy today's Moolala deal, and discover a frugal way to keep kids looking great for years to come."

Moolala is a free daily deal site.  To sign up for free, go here.  This link will also take you to the Thred-Up deal.  The deal expires on May 22, 2012.  It is only good for your very first box (so only new customers) and you are only allowed one per person.

Weekly Diaper Deals, May 22-28

I hope everyone was able to enjoy that sunshine we had last week.  I am REALLY hoping it comes back soon!  I bought some Little Swimmers last week for my baby, so now it needs to get really warm so he can actually use like at least one!

I wanted to let you know what a "baseline" price is for diapers so you can tell if you are in fact getting a good deal.  A while back Queen Bee Coupons and Savings did a post on Costco prices vs. Couponing.  I think most people assume Costco is the best deal, so I will use their diaper prices as your "baseline."  I can guarantee you can almost always find diapers cheaper with coupons.  Wipes are kind of hit and miss.  As long as you are not picky about brand/type, you can usually find them cheaper with coupons.

Huggies Size 2  $0.16/diaper
Kirkland Size 1-2  $0.14/diaper
Huggies Size 3  $0.18/diaper
Kirkland Size 3  $0.19/diaper
Huggies Size 4  $0.20/diaper
Kirkland Size 4  $0.20/diaper
Huggies Size 5  $0.23/diaper
Kirkland Size 5 $0.23/diaper
Huggies Size 6  $0.28/diaper
Kirkland Size 6  $0.29/diaper
Huggies Pull Ups 2T-3T  $0.33/diaper
Huggies Pull Ups 3T-4T  $0.36/diaper
Huggies Pull Ups 4T-5T  $0.44/diaper

Huggies Naturally Refreshing Cucumber and Green Tea Wipes, $0.024/wipe
Kirkland All Natural Fiber Wipes  $0.02/wipe

Hope this list helps you define what a good sale is.  :)  Again, thank you Queen Bee Coupons for taking the time to compile that list!!

This week's diaper deals aren't all that hot.  Walgreens has got a pretty good sale on Little Swimmers and Fred Meyer has an okay sale on Huggies products.

AMAZON

Amazon usually has some pretty great deals on diapers.  This is normally where I get my diapers because I can usually get them for FREE!  To find out how to get FREE diapers at Amazon, head over to my post here.  Even without the 20% discount codes and no Swagbucks gift cards, it seems like Amazon consistently has really good prices.  They have also recently added "coupons" that you can clip for Pampers diapers, bringing the price down even more.  :)  It is definitely usually cheaper than Costco and delivered to your doorstep for FREE (if you are an Amazon Mom member-free to join)

Year of the Staycation 2011: Olympia, Lacey, and Tumwater

I am so excited to be able to write about free and inexpensive things to do around Olympia, Lacey and Tumwater this summer.  Gas has gotten so expensive, most people are probably going to be sticking closer to home this summer.  This doesn't have to be a downer!!  There are tons of great things to do as a family around town!

If you don't live in the Olympia, Lacey, or Tumwater area, no worries!  There are over 100 bloggers writing about Staycations all over the United States.  Tomorrow, I will post links to all of their posts so that you can check out other places to enjoy some inexpensive activities.

Cheap Pepsi at Safeway TODAY ONLY!

One of Safeway's Friday deals is 24 packs of Pepsi products for only $5!  That is half off the shelf price as it is, but if you buy 2, you can use the $2/2 Pepsi 24-packs found in the 5/1 Moments to Save insert.  This makes a 24-pack only $4, or the equivalent of $2 for a 12-pack!!  This is my stock up price for soda.  Like I said earlier, this is their FRIDAY sale, so you can only do this deal today!

GROUPON: $6 for a Steam Train Ride in Chehalis

If you have kids who LOVE trains (or if you are a train lover yourself), this is the deal for you!  Groupon is offering a 75-minute steam train ride in Chehalis for only $6

You would leave from the Chehalis-Centralia Railroad and Museum in Chehalis and the ride would take you through Milburn.  It is a 12 mile trek on a 1916 steam-powered train.

For an additional $3, you can upgrade to the Riverview Coach Ride experience.  This takes you along the Chehalis river for 18 miles and is usually about 2 hours long.

The downside to this deal is that you are only allowed one per person.  You can buy more tickets as gifts, but only one is allowed per visit.  :(  Tickets are normally $12.  So, I guess you would get one ticket at half price at least.

If you would like to purchase this deal, go here to sign up for Groupon (if you are not signed up already).  It is free and they have some really amazing deals!  Go ahead and purchase the deal and enjoy!

It must be a movie day today on the web since this is the second daily deal that involves movies!  You can get one Bridesmaids movie ticket for only $6 through Daily Candy Deals.  After you purchase the deal, you will get a code which you can use through Fandango to purchase the actual ticket for the time and location of the movie you want to see.  There is a limit of one ticket per person.  They expire on July 19th.  They can only be used through Fandango (so make sure the theatre you want to go to is on Fandango).

To purchase this deal go here.  If you have not registered, you will need to do so to buy the deal.  It is totally free to do so.  Purchase the deal, wait for the code, buy your ticket online at Fandango and enjoy the show!

HURRY! 4 Movie Tickets for $30-Just $7.50 Each!!

Goldstar is offering their AMC Movie Ticket deal again!  You can get four AMC movie ticket for only $30!  That is just $7.50 a ticket!!  You need to hurry, though, if you want this deal, because it is only good today (until midnight).

The tickets are good at any AMC, Loews, Cineplex Odeon, Magic Johnson, Star and Showplace theatres nationwide.  They can be used together or separate.  They are good for any movie, any time!  There is a surcharge for IMAX and 3-D, though.

To get this deal go here to sign up for Goldstar.  It is totally free!  Goldstar is an entertainment daily deal site.  Then just purchase the deal!

I did this deal the last time they had it.  They actually send you the tickets in the mail, so you have them in hand to use whenever.  It is an AWESOME deal, especially with the price of movies nowadays!

Albertson's Doubles Are Coming....AGAIN!! :)

I am SO excited to have two weeks in a row of Albertson's doublers!  I love getting free or nearly free groceries.  These double weeks are GREAT opportunities to start your stockpile.  If you don't want to start big or don't have enough cash flow to really stockpile after your weekly groceries, Double weeks can help you with that.  There are plenty of items this week that are FREE (or even just pennies on the dollar) with doubles and coupons, so you don't even need extra cash!!  I challenge you take less than $10 and see what you can get at Albertson's this weekend for your stockpile.  :)

Be sure to subscribe to the News Tribune before Friday to make sure that you get your Twice the Value coupons.  The last couple of Sundays that Twice the Value coupons have come out, it has been difficult to find copies of the News Tribune in the stores (plus you have to pay full price if you buy it in the store).  You can usually find copies of The Olympian, but this paper DOES NOT have nearly as good of coupon inserts as the News Tribune.  I offer a special on the News Tribune where you get it DELIVERED TO YOUR DOOR for HALF THE NEWSSTAND PRICE!!  PLUS if you coupons happen to be missing (like they can be if you buy your paper at the store a lot of the time) they will deliver your missing coupons to you!  How can you go wrong?!  Check it out here and make sure to let them know that FREEZING QUEEN sent you (I am still trying to put Coupon Savant on the account for this special).

Here are some links to some fellow bloggers doubler match-ups.  Some of my favorites for the week are $0.50 Kraft Dressing (I am running kind of low), the FREE Lawry's marinade (great for grilling season!), the FREE Rhodes dinner rolls (these are YUMMY and EASY!), $0.89 Ball Park Franks (definitely cheaper than Costco!), and the $0.50 Chinet plates (gotta stock up for camping!).  What are some of your favorites this weekend?

Hope you can find something to add to your stockpile this week.  :)  Feel free to ask me any questions you may have about Albertson's and their Twice the Value coupon policy.

GROUPON: $26 for 8 Regular Sized Subs at Quiznos

Today's Groupon Daily Deal is $26 for 8 Regular sized subs (up to a $51.92 value!) at the Quiznos of your choice.  It is a national deal, but you need to look on Groupon page closest to you to see which Quiznos are participating so that you can exchange the voucher for a punch card at those locations.  The small print also states that the punch card is only good at the location purchased and by purchased, I assume they mean where you exchange the voucher for the punch card.

You are able to buy one per person and one additional as a gift.  You must exchange the voucher for a punch card by July 4, 2011!  After that, the punch card does not expire.

To get the deal, go to Groupon.  Choose the city closest to where you are as your Groupon "homepage."  If you do not see the deal right away, look to the right and there will be a list of other deals happening currently.  There will probably be one labeled "Multiple Locations" and this is the one to choose.  When you get to the Quiznos deal page, look on the right below the deal and it will have a link to the Quiznos' website and under that will be a link to the participating Quiznos in your area.  Make sure there is one that you will be able to go to regularly to use your punch card.  Buy the deal and enjoy!!  :)

Shopping Trip 5/16 and 5/17

I went to Albertson's last night and did three transactions of double coupons and then today, I went to Albertson's again for another set of transactions, to Safeway to take advantage of the cheap Off Clip Ons and the Reach catalina offer, and then my weekly run to Rite Aid.  I ended up spending a little more than I had hoped for because there were a couple of things that were not the price I had read they were on blogs.  But, I still think I did okay for my weekly grocery/tioletries/household run.  I ended up spending $65.51 but saved $196.25, and coupons were $108.73 of that!!!  I just love seeing pieces of paper transformed into "money." :)
